Explorations in Carving
Set against the expansive backdrop of Mumbai’s waterfront, this 7,000-square-foot duplex was conceived as a sophisticated yet deeply personal family home. The brief called for an interior that felt timeless and refined, with an international perspective rather than an overtly regional aesthetic.
Designed around the rhythms of both private family life and intimate entertaining, the apartment moves effortlessly between moments of retreat and gathering. Comfortable, understated spaces for everyday living sit alongside more generous areas for hosting close friends. The result is an interior that balances quiet luxury with warmth and ease in a way that is considered, enduring, and distinctly cosmopolitan.
